Agencies that are created to serve immigrants through case management, employment assistance, mental health services, youth and school services, and more. Some of these agencies offer legal services to immigrants also. In the past these agencies resettled new refugees and special immigrant visa holders.

 The NC SRO consist of three service areas: Refugee Public Assistance, Refugee Service Programs, and Refugee Support Activities. They offer grants to organizations to directly serve elegible immigrant clients.

Community Health Centers

City and county established centers across the state have community centers where people can meet for social, educational, or recreational activities. For example, they may have sports leagues like soccer for all ages, swimming activities, arts and craft classes, English language classes, and more.
